You know, I've been doing so much olympic fun stuff, I gotta tell you, I'm ready for a break. Thank goodness it rained today and I didn't feel guilty for not going down-town. There is just this pressure to soak it all in, knowing that shortly, all we'll be left with is the memories and a huge bill. Vancouver typically has a small town feel. There is always someone I know on the bus and the downtown core is mainly boring. But now, there is just a huge flux of fun and tourists - one just wants to savor it. I have to say though, I think I'm going to have to call it a day on this one! I think I'm catching a cold and I'm so exhausted - - as Raph would say, 'It's not a party if it happens every day'. No, indeed, then it just feels like work! I'll be catching the rest of the Olympics on the tube, from my comfy couch!
