Welcome to the future
I think this is the decade that we're supposed to find out whether there is life on other planets or not. Most likely it will be some sort of frozen algae. Excitement!
So far 2010 has been fantastically old-fashioned. My friend got married on New Years day and it was a lovely reunion of friends and a gorgeous wedding. Other than that, I've been working a ton at Curves because it's just that time of year. People are making resolutions to add more fitness into their lives because we can have all sorts of advancements in technology and science that allow us to live longer, but if we're not exercising and eating right, our quality of life diminishes. It feels really serious this year - people are working harder at the gym and coming in more often. Love it! Perhaps it has something to do with the Olympics right around the corner - people are excited about athletics. But what we are NOT excited about, is the traffic. Signs are up all over the city saying, 'Bike, Walk, Bus - road closures soon to be in effect'. We shouldn't even think about going downtown by car. You get a mental fine for even letting the thought pass through the brain. I wonder if all this hoopla is going to be worth it. After it's all said and done - after the carbon tax, the new HST and other tax hikes, it really seems like it's the small business owners that are paying for it. And I can't even afford a ticket! I wonder who can: at tickets ranging up to $24,000, I really hope it's worth the coin!

I wish not approve on it. I think warm-hearted post. Expressly the title attracted me to be familiar with the unscathed story.
